Import and ExportStaff and details are listed in a spreadsheet.
When saved as a CSV file the staff list can be imported.
When shifts are imported they are inserted into Shift Plans.

Shift plan is a to-do list of shifts and dates.
Plans are used to queue shifts that need to be booked but not immediately.
A powerful way to use this feature is in conjuction with importing shifts.
Booking the planned shifts can be managed on the schedule with drag and drop.
